Peer mentoring, consultancy, advocacy, counselling, employment support and coaching for adults affected by Asperger Syndrome, Aspiehelp is a service provided by The Aspire Trust (registered Charitable Trust no. CC 46192)
Welcome to the wonderfully different world of Asperger Syndrome!

Aspiehelp office
Life CAN be good for an Aspie, once you understand your condition and how to make it work for you!
We have unique and marvellous brains! Understanding your strengths and impairments will help you cope
with the Neuro-typical world and fulfill your special potential!
Aspiehelp has been set up to offer support and advice to adults who either have a diagnosis
of Asperger Syndrome or are contemplating seeking one.... please make an appointment as some of
our work will be done off-site and our rooms will not always be attended.
and...because we have a unique perspective on life as female Aspies, we are also happy to see Aspie
females of any age who want help in negotiating the difficulties of life, relationships etc.
One of the big issues facing adult Aspies is that of employment. Please look at the "Services offered" page for more information.
We are also available as "co-workers"where, for example, a counselling/therapist relationship is already established and an "Asperger Perspective" would be helpful. In other words, we will act as interpreters/translators for both counsellor and client to build a comprehensive understanding of what each other is seeking to communicate, and also provide coaching for the counsellor (if needed) in things Aspie..
We will gladly speak about Asperger Syndrome as people who live with it every day, to businesses, Disability Resource Groups, interested organisations etc. We are available for staff training : email info@aspiehelp.com , and to act as consultants on any issues affecting/involving adults with Asperger Syndrome.
Until our funding is established, we would appreciate donations if you can afford it. We will not turn anyone away on grounds of inability to pay.
( A guideline for similar professional services is around $60.00 per hour). Sometimes you may need only one session with us to "put you on the right track", so we do ask for payment for the first session. If further contact is needful, we can negotiate about the fees for that.
Aspiehelp welcomes interest from partners, family and others with a wish to help and support our work (please see the "events" section for more information).
